TWO CHINESE ENAMELLED SPOON TRAYS

One decorated en grisaille with the 'Lamentation of Christ', the base with a paper label for the Hervou‡t Collection, no.369, the other painted in enamels and gilt with the arms of Burrell in pretence Lewis?, 12.9cm and 12.6cm. (2)
Provenance: the 'Lamentation of Christ' spoon tray formerly in the collection of Dr Hervou‡t, collection no.369; sold by Marchant c.1985.
