A TALL JAPANESE VASE BY KIZAN
MEIJI PERIOD, 19TH OR 20TH CENTURY
The tall baluster body richly decorated with a dense design of shaped panels and fans with large blooms, landscapes, birds and butterflies, some areas rendered en grisaille, with many details highlighted in gilt, the neck applied with two lion's mask ring handles, the base signed Dai Nihon Kizan sei, 63cm.
