FIVE JAPANESE SATSUMA PIECES

MEIJI PERIOD, 19TH CENTURY

Comprising: two pairs of vases and a bowl, the taller vases both decorated with a continuous scene of beauties and children in a garden with bamboo and chrysanthemum behind them; the other pair painted with bands of brocade designs, birds amongst flowers, landscapes, and kaleidoscopes of butterflies; the bowl with panels of many figures in interiors and mountainous river landscapes, all signed, 24.5cm max.
