A JAPANESE KUTANI TWO-TIER PICNIC BOX, JUBAKO

MEIJI PERIOD, 19TH OR 20TH CENTURY

Of square shape and raised on four feet, the sides and lid moulded with a honeycomb-shaped pattern framed by borders of flowerheads and scrolling tendrils, the sides with panels of flowering chrysanthemum and pine trees, 14cm x 13.2cm x 13.2cm. (3)
