TWO JAPANESE INK DRAWINGS AND A WOODBLOCK PRINT

EDO PERIOD OR LATER, 18TH OR 19TH CENTURY

One a preparatory drawing for a woodblock print depicting revellers enjoying a picnic and drinking sake under a flowering wisteria tree, signed to the side; the other painted with two large sumo wrestling, one lifting the other by his loincloth, inscribed and signed; the woodblock print an e-sugoroku board game by Toyohara Kunichika (1835-1900) depicting actors and many other figures standing on stairs, 54cm x 84cm max.
