TWO PAIRS OF JAPANESE BRONZE VASES

MEIJI OR TAISHO PERIOD, 19TH OR 20TH CENTURY

One pair decorated with onagadori long-tailed chickens perched on flowering branches of prunus, the sides signed Hidekuni and both with the mark for the Nogawa workshop to the base; the other pair inlaid with branches of prunus and chrysanthemum, both signed, possibly Mitsukoshi, 18.5cm max. (4)
