A JAPANESE CLOISONNE ENAMEL VASE BY ANDO JUBEI
TAISHO OR SHOWA ERA, 20TH CENTURY
The baluster body a deep teal-blue colour, with a large band of Chinese-style archaistic designs rendered in silver wire, with lappets enclosing taotie masks and stylised confronting birds above, the rim and foot with silver mounts, the footrim stamped with the jungin silver mark and with the mark for the Ando Jubei company to the base, 27.2cm.
