λ THREE JAPANESE IVORY CARVINGS, OKIMONO
MEIJI PERIOD, 19TH CENTURY
One depicting three fishermen on a small craft, with scrolling waves carved in the ivory underneath and raised on a fitted wood stand carved as a rocky outcrop; another depicting a man and two children seated on a bench conversing, also raised on a fitted stand; the third carved as a sennin standing on a goat and holding a long handscroll, all signed, 30cm max.
