Description
A late Victorian pink sapphire and diamond convertible bangle, the cushion-shaped pink sapphire weighs 1.99cts, set within a circular double surround of old cushion-shaped diamonds in silver on gold, with further graduated old cushion-shaped diamonds to the shoulders, the circular cluster section detaches to be worn as a pendant with folding pendant loop, bangle 6cm internal diameter, pendant 3.5cm high including loop
Accompanied by report number 80248-09 dated 18 December 2019 from GCS stating that the cushion-cut pink sapphire weighs 1.99cts and is a natural pink sapphire with no indications of heat treatment, with minor amount of oil in fissures. Origin: Burma (Myanmar)
