Description

An Art Deco sapphire and diamond bracelet, centred with an oval cabochon sapphire, the bracelet set overall with rows of graduated old circular-cut diamonds in platinum, French import marks, maker's mark CH, diamonds approximately 17.00cts total, 18cm long

Accompanied by report number 80274-53 dated 4 September 2020 from GCS, stating that the cabochon-cut sapphire weighs approximately 32.00cts and is a natural sapphire, with no indications of heat treatment. Origin: Sri Lanka (Ceylon).

Provenance:

The bracelet was purchased by Lord Bernard Fitzalan Howard (1885 - 1972), 3rd Baron Howard of Glossop, for his wife Mona Josephine Tempest Fitzalan Howard, née Stapleton (1894 - 1971), 11th Baroness Beaumont of Carlton Towers, Yorkshire. Thence by descent to the current owner.
