maker's mark of A.C, Assay master I. Avdeyev, Moscow 1861,
rounded rectangular purse form, with engine-turned and niello work foliate scroll decoration, the reverse with a niello scene of Moscow from the river, initialled, gilded interior, length 12.8cm, approx. weight 6oz.
