A George III silver swing-handled sugar basket,
by Peter and Ann Bateman, London 1797,
oval form, bright-cut decoration, reeded borders and swing-handle, engraved with a crest and initials, length 16.2cm, approx. weight 6.9oz.
The crest is that of Patton, Pawson, Pemberton and Phetoplace.
