A George III silver swing-handled sugar basket,
by James and Elizabeth Bland, London 1796,
oval form, reeded scroll handle and borders, on a raised oval foot, engraved with a crest, gilded bowl, length 16.8cm, approx. weight 10.7oz.
The crest is that of Bracken, Byres, Cauty, Dowding, Fitz-Marmaduke, Montgomery and Pitman.
