A Victorian silver 'Castle-top' vinaigrette, York Minister,
by Nathaniel Mills, Birmingham 1842,
rectangular form, engine-turned sides and base, the hinged cover with a scene of the Minster, the underside with a vacant shield cartouche, the interior with a pierced and engraved silver-gilt grille, length 4.8cm, approx. weight 1.3oz.
