A Victorian silver-mounted glass claret jug,
by Aldewinckle and Slater, London 1883,
plain glass baluster body, the mounts with chased foliate decoration and beaded borders, the hinged cover with a pierced thumb-piece, the scroll handle fitted with a thermometer, (thermometer not working), height 24.3cm.
