Description
A George III provincial silver tankard,
by John Langlands, Newcastle 1773,
tapering circular form, the scroll handle scratch initialled 'M' over 'WN' and terminating in a heart motif, the domed hinged cover with a pierced thumb-piece, height 17.2cm, approx. weight 21.6oz.
