Description
A Charles II silver penner and inkwell,
with maker's mark JB conjoined, circa 1682,
the trefoil shaped cylindrical body with a pull-off cover with an oval armorial matrix, the stem unscrews to reveal the ink holder, engraved 'Robert Gartfide 1682', length 14.7cm, approx. weight 1.8oz.
