A Charles II two-handled silver porringer,
by Gilbert Shepherd, London 1661,
circular bellied form, embossed with flowers and leaves, with two caryatid scroll handles, prick-dot initialled 'W' over 'WA' and dated '1654', length handle to handle 19cm, approx. weight 11oz.
