A large and rare Cantagalli pottery plaque late 19th/early 20th century, finely decorated with a detail of Benozzo Gozzoli's Angels Worshipping, the heavenly host gathered before a scene of mountains, buildings, a distant lake and tall trees, a parrot in the foreground, with gold lustre detailing, signed to the reverse with a large cockerel, 52.3cm x 35.5cm.
