A pearlware farming or harvest jug dated 1798, painted to one side with a shield containing various farming implements, the reverse with a tree in the foreground of an English landscape with a windmill and other buildings beyond, inscribed beneath the spout with 'R Arnold 1798', the rim with a colourful geometric band, some chipping to the spout, 20.3cm.
