A large creamware jug of shipping interest c.1800, printed in black, possibly by John Sadler of Liverpool, and hand-coloured with a British sailing ship, inscribed 'Success to the William & Jane, John Roberts', the reverse with the figure of Hope resting on a large anchor and looking out to sea, 24cm.
