A pair of Sèvres-style câchepots or coolers late 18th/19th century, each painted with a scene of a courting couple in the manner of Boucher, the reverses with a panel of flowers and fruit, reserved within foliate gilt borders on an orange-red ground, blue interlaced Ls mark enclosing letter O, 10.8cm high.
