A GEORGE III MAHOGANY AND BURR YEW PORTABLE WRITING CABINET
C.1790-1800
inlaid with stringing, the top with a military style sunken brass handle above a pair of burr veneered hinged swing doors, each fitted with six graduated marble paper lined drawers with satinwood banding and turned bone handles, with a central hinged writing slope the base inlaid with a conch shell, later lined with rexine
