A VICTORIAN WALNUT AND PIETRA DURA BETJEMANN'S PATENT BOOK SLIDE
C.1860-70
with a pair of brass shield shape supports inlaid with probably Ashford marble and malachite with lilies and flowers, with a brass plaque inscribed 'J. Sampson, Coney St. York', and with a pair of further brass mounts stamped 'BETJEMANN'S PATENT 10487, SELF CLOSING BOOK SLIDE'
