the brass eight day movement with four turned pillars and a later anchor escapement striking on a bell, with pull-repeat, the backplate engraved with Rococo scrolls and a basket of flowers, the arched dial with a silvered chapter ring with Roman and Arabic numerals, the matted centre with a signature panel and date aperture, with a strike / silent dial and scrolling leaf and flower gilt metal spandrels, the bell top case with a brass handle and cone finials, with glazed sides and doors, with pendulum, a case key and winding key
