the brass eight day drum movement striking on a bell, the backplate numbered '1058' and inscribed 'E & E Emanuel, 3 The Hard, Portsea', the signed white enamel dial with Roman and Arabic numerals and pierced gilt brass hands, with an engine turned bezel, the case decorated with scrolls and palmettes, with an oak leaf and acorn surmount and an applied flower and fruit swag, with pendulum and winding key
