A FRENCH GILT AND PATINATED BRONZE FOUR-GLASS MANTEL CLOCK GARNITURE
IN EMPIRE STYLE, C.1870-80
the brass drum eight day movement striking on a gong, stamped '1879411' and with a pastille 'Medaille d'argent', the circular engine turned dial with Roman numerals, the case with bevelled glass panels and decorated with rosettes and anthemion motifs, with pendulum and winding key, and with a pair of conforming candlesticks (3)
