A LATE REGENCY RED LEATHER WORKBOX
EARLY 19TH CENTURY
with brass mounts, of sarcophagus shape, the hinged lid with a brass plaque engraved with initials, above a vacant paper lined interior, the underside of the lid with a velvet floral decorated panel, with a gilt tooled leather border, inscribed 'Stammers, 99, Strand, London', the base with a drawer with a hinged plush lined writing slope and compartments for pen and ink, on cast paw feet and with lion's mask ring handles
