EDO AND MEIJI PERIODS, 18TH AND 19TH CENTURY
variously carved as figures engaged in daily pursuits, one with three fishermen on a boat attacked by a giant octopus, another with a man crawling between the legs of another, signed 'Masatsugu' in a red lacquer plaque to the base, another a seated man with a fan signed 'Hideyama', some with paper collection labels (9)
