A rare gilt metal and pink South Staffordshire enamel spy glass necessaire, English third quarter 18th century, of cylindrical form with elaborate Rococo gold cartouche painted with rural scenes. sliding covers to the eye piece on detachable cover and body, containing a pair of folding scissors, a pen knife with steel blade and chased with insect decoration to the gilt metal body, two bodkins (one with snuff spoon) and a pair of tweezers, 13 cm
