An English mid 18th century egg-form bonbonnière, the hinged bloodstone box with ornate gold cage work decorated with birds and scrolls, diamond thumb piece, the rim with white and gold enamel posy 'Dieu vus venit' (God has blessed you), further scroll decoration to the internal rims, 4.5cm high
