An Edo hip mask
Benin Kingdom, Nigeria
bronze, with a lattice headdress having coral decorations, raised scarifications to the forehead and elliptical eyes with inlaid pupils, with a pierced and scroll decorated collar with thirteen ring attachment, the back with two attachment loops, 19th / 20th century,
15.5cm high.
