A good George Jones Majolica game pie dish, the cover with a quail sitting amidst ferns, surrounded by her seven chicks, the sides moulded with rabbits, oak leaves and more ferns, all decorated with coloured Majolica glazes. A short faint body crack. Impressed marks and moulded registration marks for 1873, 35.5cm. (2)
