Description
A Chelsea fluted bowl c.1754-55, the wide shallow form painted to the interior in Kakiemon enamels with two long-tailed birds beside banded hedges and flowering branches, the rim with a continuous leafy border with gilt flowerheads, red anchor mark, rim faults, 24.5cm.
Provenance: from the collection of Lady Kate Davson, née Kate Foster (1938-2020). Gift of Bob Williams.
