By A. E. Jones, a silver tankard,
Birmingham 1907,
in the 17th century manner, tapering circular form, chased leaf border, scroll handle, the hinged cover with a recumbent lion thumb-piece, height 12.7cm, approx. weight 14.5oz.
Provenance: A Private Collection.
This tankard was presented by A. Edward Jones to his future daughter-in-law Muriel Crisp Jones to mark the occasion of her marriage to Kenneth Crisp Jones, in the 1940's.
