A set of twenty George III Irish silver Hanoverian pattern table forks and fifteen matching dessert forks,
by John Dalrymple, Dublin 1790, the dessert forks, Dublin 1792,
the reverse of the terminals with a crowned crest, approx. weight 60oz. (35)
The crest is that of Thomas Taylour 1st Marquess of Headfort.
Provenance: from the family collections of Captain George Lionel Jameson OBE (1880-1961), Colonel Jocelyn Elliott Armstrong (1903-2001), and their descendants.
