A mixed lot of silver items,

various dates and makers,

comprising: a silver magnifying glass, maker's mark of E.A.D, London 1923, rectangular lens, tapering silver-mounted shagreen handle, length 15.3cm, a German box, of oval form, the hinged cover embossed with dancing children, plus a box of scallop form, set with red stones, gilded interior, Birmingham 1997, a Victorian presentation inkwell and stand, Birmingham 1885, chased foliate decoration, and a metalware and stone tortoise, approx. weighable 12oz. (5)

Provenance: from the family collections of Captain George Lionel Jameson OBE (1880-1961), Colonel Jocelyn Elliott Armstrong (1903-2001), and their descendants.
