maker's mark only, probably that of John Schofield, London,

oval form, possibly re-fashioned, gadroon border, engraved with an armorial, length 45cm, approx. weight 44oz.

Provenance: from the family collections of Captain George Lionel Jameson OBE (1880-1961), Colonel Jocelyn Elliott Armstrong (1903-2001), and their descendants.
