A Victorian silver-gilt novelty book vinaigrette,
by Rawlings and Summers, London 1839,
with chased foliate scroll decoration, the spine with similar decoration and with two shell motifs, gilding worn, the interior with a pierced and engraved foliate and flower grille, length 4.5cm, approx. weight 1.1oz.
