A George IV silver snuff box,

by John Bettridge, Birmingham 1828,

rectangular form, the hinged cover with a raised scene from Act II, Scenes IV of Shakespeare's Henry VIII with the celebrated actress Sarah Siddons (1755-1831), engine-turned sides and base, length 8.8cm, approx. weight 6.9oz.
