A George III silver snuff box,
by Peter and Ann Bateman, London 1794,
oval navette form, the pull-off cover engraved with a rural scene of two huntsmen with their rifles and gun dog, the underside initialled 'JB', length 10.9cm, approx. weight 3.6oz.
