the brass single fusee eight day movement, with a verge escapement and tapering plates, the 12in brass circular dial with Roman and Arabic numerals, with pierced hand s, signed 'Edw Maud, St. Pauls Church Yard, London', the glazed door with a moulded brass bezel and in a moulded outer case
