A FRENCH GILT BRASS CARRIAGE CLOCK
LATE 19TH / EARLY 20TH CENTURY
the brass eight day repeating movement with a platform lever escapement and striking on a gong, with alarm, the white enamel dial with Roman numerals and a subsidiary alarm dial, in a corniche case, the back with presentation inscription 'To G.M.E. from L.W.C. & M.M. May 1924'
