A SOUTH GERMAN WALNUT AND MARQUETRY TABLE CABINET
17TH CENTURY AND LATER
inlaid with various fruitwoods some stained green, the top with strapwork panels above a pair of doors decorated with parrots perched on branches, the insides with Swiss Guard type figures, the interior fitted with seven ripple moulded drawers inlaid with various animals: squirrels, dogs and hares before cityscapes, around a central cupboard decorated with a huntsman, revealing two small drawers with a secret drawer behind, the base with a later long drawer
