the chicken skin leaf painted with Roman views of the Colosseum and the Forum, the tomb of Caecilia Metella and the pyramid of Cestius, with ribbon tied garlands and gilt foil edging, with plain ivory sticks, mounted in a later glazed and gilt fan shape box frame
