A PAIR OF REGENCY PLASTER TORCHERE FIGURES OF BACCHUS AND FLORA
IN THE MANNER OF HUMPHREY HOPPER, EARLY 19TH CENTURY AND LATER
possibly after the bronze model by Pierre Garnier, Bacchus draped with a lion's pelt and holding a gilt brass wine cup, Flora standing beside a tree stump holding an ewer, each supporting a frosted glass storm lantern shade, mounted in gilt bronze bases on modern painted wood plinths (8)
