AN ITALIAN BRONZE GRAND TOUR LAMP BASE
IN THE MANNER OF CHIURAZZI, NAPOLI, 19TH CENTURY
in the form of an athenienne, the top with three storks with serpents in their beaks, supporting a detachable bowl relief decorated with Bacchanalian cherubs and satyrs, with Roman style oil lamps hung from chains, the monopodia fluted supports decorated with stag heads, garlands of fruit and flowers and with hoof feet, the centre with a classical youth, on tripod feet
