with a pair of hinged doors, revealing divisions for letters, calendar apertures, with cards for months, days of the week and days, with a leather cased travelling inkwell and a travelling lighter, a pen compartment and a base drawer, the brass lock stamped 'Asprey & Son 166 New Bond St.'
