Description
A Victorian sapphire and diamond brooch pendant, centred with a cushion-shaped sapphire weighing 12.33cts in gold, within a surround pave-set with circular-cut diamonds, and two further outer foliate surround of old cushion-shaped diamonds in silver on gold, detachable brooch fitting, folding pendant loop and open suspension loop, 3.7cm high
Accompanied by report number19783 dated 13 April 2021 from The Gem & Pearl Lab stating that the rectangular cushion-shaped sapphire weighs 12.33cts, and is a natural sapphire with no indications of treatment. Origin: Sri Lanka (Ceylon).
Accompanied by an insurance valuation dated 1962 from T. A. Henn & Son Ltd.
