A CHINESE LONGQUAN CELADON TRIPOD INCENSE BURNER
15TH/16TH CENTURY
The compressed body rising to an everted rim, the body decorated with narrow raised bands, all supported on three feet shaped as stylised lion masks, 15.3cm.
Provenance: formerly the collection of Wladimir Simon Semcesen (1906-1969), who visited China in the early 1950s when this piece was purchased.
